EBus support?
Its been discussed to death but I can’t seem to find a straight answer.
I’m getting a new Vaillant Ecotec Plus 825 COMBI and I heard the Tado works better than the V-Smart.
I would like modulation but I don’t really want to buy the VR33 open therm module.
From what I can make out, the UK E-Bus option was removed?
So I think the only option which was suggested was to purchase the discontinued extension kit, but I also wanted to know if the new EU wireless receiver supports Vaillant E-bus?
Thank you in advance.

The old extension kit and the EU version of the wireless receiver both have digital connections, which support Opentherm and some ebus versions. If your boiler supports opentherm you’ll be fine, if it uses ebus I would check with Tado directly to see if it’s compatible.0

Hi,
@daniellondon @johnnyp78 Do either of you know what versions of EBUS are currently supported by Tado in their wired or wireless extension kit?

I don’t. I think the best thing to do would be to ask Tado directly.0
