Extension kit is on but not connecting

My tado is connected but the heating doesn't turn on, please help. The devices are all connected

  • You’ll get more help if you say what Tado devices you have, what boiler system you have and how the Tado devices are wired to them. If you think it’s a wiring issue it’s with adding photos as well.
  • I have a tado that utilises smart thermostat with an extension kit and my boiler a valliant ecotec 937. It worked fine until i changed my internet provider. All devices (thermostat, router, and extension kit) show they are connected and paired up, however it does not turn the boiler on and the extension kit does not have a solid light
  • OK, so that fact that it worked fine until you changed ISP suggests where to start looking for the issue. Who was your provider and who have you switched to. Did you change broadband router at the same time?

    Are you saying that in the app, all devices show as available and you can see the temperature graphs but if you try to change a setting, nothing happens?

    Do you definitely have 3 LEDs lit on the bridge?

    How is the bridge powered? If it's from the router, some people have had issues with certain routers powering down the USB port after a while. Worth trying a separate USB PSU to rule that out

    Can you login to your router and confirm the bridge is showing as a connected device? Does your router allow you to set ethernet port speeds? IIRC, it should be 10Mbps half-duplex for the bridge but most ethernet ports should be auto-sensing

    Is it an extension kit or wireless receiver? If an extension kit, the light will not be solid when it's operating normally. It should be a "breathing" indication i.e. fading from off to fully on. I'm not sure what indications a wireless receiver should show for normal operation but someone on here should be able to advise
