Heating Valve always open

Recently moved into a house and paired all of the devices that were left in the house. However, the hot water value is now always open but none of the smart thermostats are calling for heat. Any suggestions as to how I fix this. Thanks.

    Which devices do you have? Assuming a Tado wireless receiver and no wiring issues, the likely suspects would be a stuck Tado microswitch or the HW valve - motor or seized valve. Which lights are on the Tado receiver? How old is the heating valve? I’ve had these fail anywhere from 3 months to 20 years. Assuming a Honeywell style HW valve, does the manual valve arm move with firm pressure, or easily which may suggest it is stuck open?
