5 or 10 minute blocks needed for Hot Water

I’m appalled that Tado only permits 15 minute blocks when setting the timer. Fine for central heating, but for hot water it means wasteful energy use. I need 5 or 10 minute blocks, twice a day, adding up to 15 or 20 mins in total. 30 minutes means wasting energy and pulling the planet more than I need to. Please get it sorted.

    What type of system do you have? I struggle to see how you'd get much HW from such a short run time. It's also quite inefficient to run the system up from cold as a lot of energy will be used to heat the system

    Wouldn't it be better just to run the system once per day for 20 mins if that's what you need?

    You're correct that tado has a minimum runtime of 15 mins but above that, you can have any runtime you want with 5 minute granularity
