iPhone keeps connecting to Tado as the wifi system

I am constantly finding that Tado has booted out my smartphone connection to my wifi router and has replaced it with itself. My Smartphone is set up to ask before making any connections, this doesn’t happen with Tado. How do I stop this?

    Tado doesn’t work on wifi so it wouldn’t be able to do this. Sounds like it might be an issue with your router.

    Tado has nothing to do with WiFi.

    However, a few years ago my wife's iPhone didn't like the then new dualband WiFi and constantly disconnected. The workaround was to alter in the WiFi settings of the router to change the name of one of the bands slightly e.g by adding a -2 and/or -5 suffix, but you then have the pain of updating printers etc.
