Tado wired (UK) thermostat - Vaillant Ecofit Pure 825 - ebus - domestic hot water temperature

Hi, I've recently set up this boiler using ebus. Heating seems to be scheduling and modulating nicely, but my hot water temperature is all over the place.
I set up the thermostat with the following settings:
D.07, HC.01, HW ✓, EK X
I can change the hot water temperature on the app and on the boiler but they don't seem to make any difference. When I run the hot water I can see the temperature on the boiler ramp up to 60C even though I've set the hot water temperature at 45 on both the app and boiler.
Anyone had a similar issue with a vaillant?

Are you sure that your boiler’s version of vaillant ebus supports hot water control with Tado? I know that some vaillant boilers don’t.0

Pretty sure it should based on the tado pro app, this indicates that "hot water control" is enabled0

I wouldn’t rely on the Tado pro app to tell you. I would check with Tado support.0
