Does anyone have Tado set up with the EcoTec Pro 24 WITHOUT having to plug the receiver into a mains socket? IE Have you been able to wire the receiver directly into the boilers electricity supply instead?

    Not a pro, but you would piggy back on the main power terminals where the incoming 240v supply cable attaches to the boiler terminals, looks like it’s that terminal block is called X1 in the manual.
