Energy IQ Meter Readings: New gas meter, restarts at zero
Hi,
I've logged my gas meter reading in the Tado app in "Energy IQ => Meter Readings => Add" a few times each month. A few months ago, our gas meter had to be changed and the readings on our gas new gas meter now restarted at zero.
Can I just put the zero and subsequent readings into Tado's Energy IQ Meter Readings, and will it recognise that I've got a new meter that restarted at zero?
So my readings look like this:
2 August: 2530 m^3
5 August: 2531 m^3
10 August: 0 m^3 (new meter got installed)
15 August: 3 m^3
Will that be all fine?

tado won't recognise that you have a new meter installed. Just add the new figure and go from there and see if it figures/price is accurate.

As the change was middle of summer so no heating for Tado to register, I rounded mine up by 150 to nearest large number (9000) so in your case you could start at 3000/3003 etc

How many people in the UK are having new meters ?, re. the government scheme to install "Smart".
Come on Tado pull that finger etc. Make Tado "smart"
