Do I have to decommission an existing Drayton SCR and wireless Digistat+RF to get my Tado system to work or can I just remove the whole thing including wiring?

    The Drayton SCR can be replaced by the Tado wireless receiver or wired thermostat. I'd suggest you go for the wireless starter kit. The Drayton SCR and Tado wireless receiver are wired similarly for a combi boiler, L N COM and NO. You disconnect the SCR and reconnect the wires to the new Tado wireless receiver. The wireless receiver will need a link from L to COM. The Tado starter kit includes a battery powered wireless thermosat to replace your Drayton Digistat+RF. After purchase, reach out to Tado support and they will provide wiring instructions.
