Can you use without wifi

We’ve just bought a house with an already installed Tado system. We don’t have WiFi installed yet, it there a way of using the Tado heating system without WiFi connection? Or a way of overriding the Tado system to use the boiler/heating until we get WiFi?

Mind that appart from having Internet access, you would need the old owner to transfer you the ownership in order to be able to control it with the app from your account:
