Ideal Logic Plus Combi C30 Boiler - Error "Check Room Stat Batteries"

Hi, I just finished installing my Tado Smart Thermostat and Extension Kit, and all seemed to go okay. However, my boiler is now giving an error code - "Check Room Stat Batteries" and doesn't seem to be responding correctly to commands sent from Tado. I put the unit in CH (Central Heating) + DHW (Hot Water) mode, and it run's CH in continuous mode, not responding to the set-point on the TStat. Any ideas on what might be wrong, or if I've missed a step?
