Move Tado wireless temperature sensor attached to wall with adhesive strips

We are looking to move a wireless temperature sensor which has been attached to wall with the adhesive pads.
Does anyone know the best way of doing this?

Remove the adhesive strips? You can just get a stand for the temperature sensor.

If you don't have smart TRVs then you can simply put the sensor in any room.0

The stand is a good shout. The installer attached the wireless temperature sensor to the wall using the adhesive pads on the back. I was wondering how easy it is to remove from the wall?0

Remove the wireless stat from the backplate and carefully cut through the adhesive pads behind the backplate using a sharp thin decorators knife. E.g https://www.screwfix.com/p/no-nonsense-dual-moulded-stripping-knife-3-/19995
