Internet Dropout

I often have Internet dropouts, and am going away for a few days. If the Internet drops, will the TRVs still kick in at 5C or, just stay off?

My understanding is that the trvs will do nowt if you lose broadband/internet connection. Our installation has the boiler in an outside unheated cupboard of an attached garage. The system has a wired frost stat and pipe stat (in the cupboard) to protect the heating system from freezing at low temperatures. Relying on a wireless connection (eg Tado) as the only frost protection is asking for problems. Best to wire in a frost protection package.
