Switch lives and permant lives

I'm having some problems with my electrics at home, so I have a I for light in my porch and a outdoor light both of which do not work, but to turn my indoor one on I have two switches that control it, one in the hallway which controls the hallway and the porch ( the hallway light works) and then one in the porch which also work the outdoor light, I' have taken all the light switches off and checked the connections and this is what I found, on the hallway light switch im not getting any electric come through on the permant live nor the switch live on the one that controls the indoor porch light, and also the same on the switch in the porch that controls the indoor light, any suggestions how I get over this ?
