Installing Tado with a Siemens RWB9

My existing system is a Siemens RWB9. The Tado instructions say to turn off the electrics. When I do this, the clock on the Siemens RWB9 still displays. Does this mean it is off and safe to install Tado? Or is there power coming from somewhere for the clock to still be on?
