Tado turns on radiators in boiler but not hot water

Hi all,

i have recently installed the tado with extension kit in the vitodens 100 b1kc, unfortunately, it seems unable to change the hotwater settings. I can't get hot water out of the faucets. When disconnecting the tado and regulates itself, it seems to work all fine. It is wired up correctly over opentherm.


Any ideas?

    Are viessmann boilers compatible with Opentherm or do they use ebus? Some boilers using ebus aren’t compatible with hot water control by Tado. If it is Opentherm I would download the Tado pro app and check your settings. It’s worth looking at the boiler manual too.

    well the tado pro app says everything is fine and hot water control should be on!
