Vitodens 050 not firing up when App is calling for heat

I have had a Wireless thermostat fitted to a Viessmann Vitodens 050. The wiring matches the instructions. The reciever, bridge and thermostat are all connected to the WiFi and visible on the app. The app says the heating is heating to the set temp but the boiler is not on. DHW works as that is on a separate loop. When the heating button on the receiver is pressed the boiler comes to life and heats the house. Any ideas as to what the issue could be.

    So I am not sure what has changed. I went to the shops for a few items. When I came back I noticed the sound of pipes creaking and rads that were warm to the touch. Boiler now seems to be communicating with the thermostat. Would love to say that I did something to help anyone else that may have problems setting it up
