2nd thermostat sensor

As the tado trv in my lounge is pretty much covered with furnitures, I have put an additional thermostat more in the middle of the room. Not quite sure how it works though. Did not pair the 2nd one with the trv (wouldn’t know how to). Does it automatically override the trv or how is it of any use besides telling me the actual room temperature? How would it even know which trv to react with? Can’t find anything online or in manual. Can anybody help? Many thanks in advance.

    Put the new thermostat in the same virtual room as the TRV and it will take over the temperature monitoring and drive the TRV as necessary . . .
