Frost mode and not heating

Hi, I am useless when it comes to this sort of thing but bough this hoping it would help me heat different parts of my house separately. I had a friend install this yesterday, (starter kit and additional therm in one bedroom). Everything is wired in, set up and recognised on the app but it doesn't seem to get to tem or turn the radiators on. The app shows its recognising the temps in the house and bedroom and that it says it is heating it but never moves the temp. Also, since last night it goes into frost mode even though I have the room schedule set at higher than current temp. Any ideas what the issue would be?

    Sounds like a wiring issue. To say anything more substantive, you'll need to provide information on your heating system. Pictures can help.
