Enhancing Security Measures with MFA/2FA

Hello Tado Community,

I hope everyone is enjoying their Tado systems as much as I am. I currently have one internet bridge, two thermostats, and eleven smart radiator thermostats installed in my home. The system works fantastically and has greatly improved my home's comfort and efficiency.

However, I have a concern about the security of our Tado accounts. Currently, access is protected only by an email and password combination. In today's world, where cybersecurity threats are becoming more sophisticated, this level of security seems outdated and insufficient.

Many modern services have adopted multi-factor authentication (MFA) or two-factor authentication (2FA) to provide an additional layer of security. Implementing MFA/2FA would significantly enhance the protection of our accounts and demonstrate Tado's commitment to customer security.

What do you think? Should Tado implement MFA/2FA for its login process?

Yes, MFA/2FA should be implemented for better security.

I really think that an MFA option has become a must-have. You really don't want someone else to have easy access to your heating system because of a leaked username/password.

I would like to see Tado/developers make this a priority.
