Tado X keeps boiler heating way above target temperature?

I have a Tado X wired thermostat, I own an OpenTherm boiler. My thermostat was set to 19C. I just got home, and found out it was 26C in my house. My thermostat kept regular temperature until 6PM today, which turned on the heating continuously until I came home and had to reset the thermostat (by holding the middle button) for the boiler to stop being on.

It's not my boiler's fault. It worked with the old thermostat. Also, when coming home and it being unnecessarily on, it showed the correct status code for "thermostat tells me I have to heat".

Does anyone else have this issue or know any workarounds? Factory resetting doesn't work either.
