Dual Tado Wired Thermostats - Keep switching heating on
I have replaced two Danfoss TPOne-B thermostats with wired thermostats one thermostat is for the ground floor the other the first floor. Initially when they were installed the heating for both floors kept turning on even when they were set to off, I had to remove them to switch the heating off.
Having done some research I’m wondering if the problem is linked to the rooms which have radiator thermostats being assigned to zone controllers in my case the two wired thermostats? I have now removed all rooms from the zone controllers and are independent.
My understanding is my exist TPOne-B and the wired thermostats are just simple relays so have been wondering why they were both triggering the heating.
If this is now setup correctly will each Tado thermostat work independently in a similar way to the way the TPOne-B used to work eg increase temperature upstairs will trigger heating upstairs only?
