How to add tado when heating is controlled via manual time lock on boiler
Hi everyone , I’m looking for help - we control my current heating system ( Worcester green star) using the time clock on the boiler - we simply switch it on for a few hours on nights and use the manual trvs to only heat the rooms we wantt etc. w rush ally use our log burner as our main heat.
We DO NOT have a room stat or controller , we just use the time clock on the bolier. ( it’s a combi so no hot water tank)
We’ve now got a new born and we want to be able to keep her room warm
Overnight , so Iv bought enongh TRVs for my whole house , and an internet bridge .
Do I need anything else to get my install working ? I had assumed I would simply set my time clock on the boiler to on 24/7 and the Trvs would call for heat ? But perhaps im missing something ? Any help appreciated.

You need a wireless receiver or wired 'stat to actually fire the boiler when the TRVs request heat . . .
