Hi,

Does anyone know how I can convert my old Giacomini radiator from lock shield to TRV valve? (The info I have is it may be 15mm-3/4" tall) 

I am worried I'm going to have to buy the full TRV valve on top of the Tado - does Tado supply the TRV valve?

    No, if the radiator doesn't have an existing TRV you'll have to fit one and the tadoº SRV head attaches to, and controls, it . . .

    @hugbilly is right. The smart radiator stat fits over a real TRV. So first replace the valve on the feed side of the radiator with a TRV. If you haven't done something like this before there are videos on YouTube.
