- tado° is only compatible with thermostatic radiator valves (TRV). Smart Radiator Thermostats replace your existing TRV heads. This is only possible with thermostatic radiator valves.

- tado°'s Smart Radiator Thermostats fit almost any thermostatic radiator valve body, either directly or by using one of the adapters listed in our Compatibility Guide. The guide will tell you if you need an adapter to install your devices, and whether the adapter is provided by tado° or you have to buy it yourself (online or in a local hardware shop).
