Tado can’t control my heating system (Remeha Tzerra Ace)
Hi everyone, I’m new on Tado and I can’t figure out how to solve my problem.
I have a Tado V3+ and a brand new Remeha Tzerra Ace, connected with Opentherm (I think).
The problem is that Tado can’t turn on my heating system. If I also try to set up to all my heaters high temperatures, the heating system doesn’t start at all. I can only start it manually setting the heating temperature but obviously it doesn’t stop. It seems Tado can’t communicate with the heating system at all.
Attached you can see the pictures of the connection of the Tado and of the heating system.
can you please help me?

I too have same issue with my Tado3+. It does control hot water but not central heating.
I have two heating zones and temperature for bedrooms zone is set at lower setting but is higher than living area which is set to higher level.0 -
Have you contacted support to clarify their readings of the situation and to provide you help directly?
At first glance the wiring looks right but having quickly looked at the install guide https://mediacdn.remeha.co.uk/-/media/themes/remehauk/documents/current/user-manuals/remeha-quinta-ace-30-115-installation-and-user-manual.pdf?v=1&d=20201208T100632Z
Having slipped through that, some suggestions:
1. It may be worth looking at the user configuration settings, which seem to determine the settings which can be triggered remotely.
2. Ensure support are alerted and get them involved.
3. Contact the manufacturer's tech support team and get them to walk you through diagnostics at the panel, to let you know whether the impediment is at the boiler settings or the opentherm control ends.0 -
Hi Stefano,
Is your issue resolved? If yes, can you please share some details about the root cause and solution?
Have you contacted Tado Support or Remeha Support ?
Are you satisfied about the service offered?
Are you happy with Tado?
Reason for all these questions: I just bought the Wireless Tado-X. Now reading quite some negative posts here on this forum, which is making me doubt if I made a good choice.
And although Remeha is supported (I checked before buying), for the model that I have (Tzerra Ace) I need to contact support already because of a gap in the installation instruction.
Thanks for your help0 -
Hi. Would you all come back here and let us know how the support response is going, but as seperate threads? This isnt to put you off. I often find that the hurdles are different for each person and that enables my mind to be clear in offering assistance. We are all volunteers here, offering our own experience to others in the same boat.
