I have just fitted my Tado V3+ system, everything is paired but thermostat does not switch on boiler, even with stat in off position the boiler switches on, there is quite a distance between receiver and bridge, currently waiting for WiFi booster, on the receiver I’m getting the triangle light with exclamation make which I presume is a fault

Yes it is a communication error.

Just need to check.

• It helps if one pairs the bridge and the receiver with the two not far from each other. Once thsts done, one can move the receiver close to the boiler, and the internet bridge somewhere else and they will at least have each other's logical communications identifier stored in them by then, so when searching, they will lock in more easily the next time.
• Note that normal Wifi (as we normally know it) can travel around the home more easily than the radio signal which is used by the Tado internet bridge.
• However the radio signal used by the Tado internet bridge to talk to its Tado compatriots is more easily inhibited by thick walls and large metal objects. Hence, if possible, connect the internet bridge directly to the wifi booster and locate it where it can be equidistant from everything Tado. You should find that helps.

All done now, moved bridge closer to receiver by drilling through said thick wall and extended Ethernet cable, all working fine now
