Can I use the tado TRVs to run my boiler with the Extension Kit only?
Hi - I currently have 6 Tado TRVs working on my radiators.
My oil boiler (which heats the radiators + hot water) operates independently of the TRVs. and switches on & off per a timer integrated into the boiler. I do not have room thermostat in the house. the only thermostat is the water temperature thermostat - also integrated into the boiler.
What I am interested to know is, if I interface the extension kit with the boiler, can my TRVs call heat (i.e switch boiler ON/OFF) directly trough the extension kit to the boiler without the need for the Smart thermostat?

The SRTs can communicate with the Extension Kit, but we don't support configurations of an Extension Kit without a Smart Thermostat (The Extension Kit can't be installed without the Smart Thermostat).
