Issues With Turning Off Heating
Installed Tado Wireless V3 system on Combi boiler, got the wireless temp sensor on one side of the house controlling 4 of the Tado TRVs, got another 5 Tado trvs on the other side of the house that we use the app to control, wired like for like with the old wireless reciever wire placement. The app and thermostat will trigger the heating to the chosen radiators no problem but the issue seems to be with it turning off. For example, both last night and tonight, I have turned it off on both the app and temp sensor and it shows as off but radiators are still blasting at full temp about an hour later but boiler doesn’t seem to be running. There are a few radiators on either side of the house on lock shield that will get heat if the boiler is triggered which is fine. Sometimes I have went back into the app and it shows the heating still on after I’ve switched it off some time before but also everything is showing as off on app and boiler but roasting hot for an hour after. It’s not open therm, was thinking as the boiler is running as normal but only going to a handful of radiators, could this be just the heat generated while it was running taking longer to cool down? Or will I need to contact Tado? Have seen some people say they have changed something on their end and issues going away. Any advice welcome. Installed myself as DIYer but the wiring should be right.
