Tado X TRV - Keeps asking to mount
I have a few smart TRV X’s and all work perfectly, except one. Quite often one of my radiators starts heating up a lot. On the app I notice it gets a fault and asks me to mount the smart TRV. Hold it for a few seconds and it mounts per the app instructions, and then it works perfectly again and temperature continues to drop. No physical adjustment needed or anything. Then a few days will pass and then the fault appears again. Even after pysically removing the TRV and re-attaching a few days will pass and the fault will appear. This never used to happen until relatively recently. Is anyone else having this issue? Does anyone know the fix?

Yes, I'm having a similar issue with my valves too. All work OK and then suddenly one will show the red dot and need to be mounted again. 3 of my 9 valves have done this so far.

This has just happened to me and I thought the valve had stuck open but on closer inspection, the mount had actually disintegrated. See photo.
