Why didn't my heating come on this morning?
My heating is set to come on every morning at 6am with the Tado V3 set to 18.5 deg, and that's what it normally does. However this morning, at 8.30 it felt cold (radiators cold too) and looking at the app it showed that the room temperature was 17.2 deg but it should be 18.5 and the 3 wiggly lines were greyed out.
I manually lifted the temp on the app to 19 deg and a few moments later everything sprang to life i.e. the 3 wiggly lines changed to solid white and the boiler fired up.
This has never happened before (I've had the Tado for about 3 months). Can anyone suggest what might have caused the problem please, and has anyone else had similar experiences?

@Victor_Delta Hello. Sorry to hear that the heating did not come on today. In three years, I’ve not had that problem. However, it happened to our rellie in 2022 when their Virgin broadband failed. With a cloud-based system there could be lots of reasons … anything fhat causes (temporary) loss of internet connection to the Tado servers. I’d suggest that you request the V3+ “off-line scheduling” from the topic on this community forum.

Hi @wateroakley thanks for your reply. You're probably right about it being a Wi-Fi or internet issue although a) there are no other signs that my internet was down at 6am and b) I have another setting at 8am for 19 deg so find it hard to believe that 2 settings were missed. However, something obviously went wrong and I'll keep an eye on it over the next few days to see if the problem repeats itself - hopefully it wont!
On your other point, I have actually already requested V3+ “off-line scheduling” a couple of weeks ago but, so far, haven't heard anything further.
Thanks again.

Ah ha. Heating came on ok this morning but I've just noticed a couple of places on my temperature graphs where there is a gap in the temp line and there is a '-X-' symbol on the x-axis. Presumably this indicates a lack of communication i.e. Wi-Fi or internet failure…?
