Tado Heat x optimizer & Daikin Altherma R3
Hello, I have a Daikin Altherma R3 heat pump air to water. it has a lan adapter connected but unfortunately this adapter is very cumbersome to use and primarily to connect to, this makes it almost impossible to do minor changes in the heating schedule. due to this I am looking at the Heat X optimizer as a mean to get a more user friendly interface on my heat unit.
Where can I find instruction on: exactly which tado components to buy?
Where can I find model specific instruction on how to connect the Tado optimizer to my main heat unit?

The good news is, tado° X is compatible with most Daikin products. The bad news is that there are a few exceptions. The best thing to do is to contact tado° via chat and have one our agents perform a compatibility check. You'll first be speaking to a bot, but once you select 'speak to a person', you'll be transferred to an agent who can guide you with your purchase.
Once compatibility is confirmed and your devices purchased/delivered, you'll be able to find installation instructions in the tado° app. Support remains available to you should you need further help (just email back the agent you were speaking to during the compatibility check).0
