Why does my smart thermostat keep crashing?
My Tado setup has been pretty solid for years. But over the past couple of weeks the smart thermostat has crashed three times - it is the connection to the boiler, so the whole house goes offline until I can physically reset it.
Why is this suddenly happening? Was there a dodgy firmware update or something? Should I replace the batteries (it isn’t saying they are low)?

If it is in a place thats humid, it does crash. Contact support and tell them you arent getting heat. This will escalate your request for assistance.

I've noticed the same thing. Tado worked without a hiccup for years, and since a couple of months both my Smart Thermostat and Wireless Temp Sensors often crash, needing a hard reboot. Last night I woke up in a room that was 25 degrees celcius because the thermostat was frozen on 18.7 degrees.
It must be a firmware thing because I didn't have this problem before.
