Tado V3 Worcester GREENSTAR 32CDI wiring
Can someone please let me know how to correctly wire up the Tado V3 to a Worcester GREENSTAR 32CDI Compact ErP. See attached photo for boiler wiring without Tado connection.
It's also got a Drayton LPIORF on the front panel that would need decommissioning for Tado to work?

Hi. You'll need access to these resources:
- The installation guide for your boiler. Greenstar CDi Compact Combi ErP Installation and Servicing Instructions | Worcester Bosch. Page 29-30 identifies the wiring that needs to be in place (plug 2 is the EMS-BUS connection point), the others seem to be correct according to your photos.
- Tado should provide you with instructions to enable you to fit their kit in D17 mode on the connector named EMS (plug 2). They must put that in writing.
- You are right. there seems to be a further change which Tado does not mention, and which Worcester doesnt discuss when a remote boiler control is added - the internal front panel controller may need to be dismounted at the ribbon.
@arthur2shedsjackson @mlennox - would you chip in? Guys I wonder if it might be best for us to establish one thread specifically for this family, in which the individuals who have got this all to work set out their approach. Some solved this through an Opentherm convertor, some handled it directly.

Thanks to those who have provided information and support on this and other threads. It's great to see the community coming together to help each other out. However, I'm incredibly frustrated by the lack of clear and comprehensive installation instructions from Tado. Like others have mentioned, it's pretty poor considering the advertised premise of an easy, DIY install. I'm not comfortable messing around with the boiler or electrical wiring, and I was really hoping for a simple, step-by-step guide (A: do this, B: do that, C: job done).
To add to my frustration, I have an annual service contract with British Gas that covers call-outs for a flat fee of £60. I contacted them yesterday hoping they could install the Tado, but they informed me they won't, as they partner with Hive. So, my £200+ annual contract is essentially worthless in this situation. 😫
I'm at a loss. I really don't want to risk attempting the wiring myself, British Gas won't do it, and I can't afford to throw more money at the problem by hiring an electrician. It looks like I'll unfortunately have to go down the route of complaining to Tado and returning the product.

@Emcee Does Tado have a list of installers which you might make available to @carldean84 ?
@carldean84 would you PM me with your contact details? We may be able to talk this through.
