TADO V3+ and zone valve

I have a boiler that heats three floors. Each floor has a traditional thermostat with a dial to set the desired temperature, and each thermostat is connected to a SIEMENS STC25 zone valve. I would like to replace one of the three thermostats with a TADO V3+. Is this possible? How should I connect the thermostat to the zone valve? Thank you.

    @mb_69 hello again.
    If you are using the same zone valve, that looks correct.

    @mb_69 - that STC25 seems to be unique to Italian diverter valves. This guide on the internet: STC25.pdf explains that it is purely a motor, sitting on the valve and that its wires are:

    • Blue (Blu)
    • Brown (Marrone)
    • White (Bianco)
    • Nero (Black)

    It suggests that Blue is Neutral, Brown is perhaps Live, and that the White and Black wires provide information as to whether the valve was open or closed. I cannot translate that document (apologies).

    Do you have the capacity to open the thermostat that you wish to replace, identify its model and provide a photograph of its wiring, by posting it here? You will need to use a laptop or desk machine, not a mobile phone to post the photograph.

    In principle both the V3 series wired thermostat and the X series should be able to complete the role you need. They will need their internet bridge installed as well. But to know how best to wire the Tado thermostat we need to understand how your existing thermostat is actually wired in.

    Do come back and we can try and help.

  • Hi, the thermostat I wish to replace is a perry TE120 and it's wired on the NA (normalmente aperto/normaly open) and C (common) pins. So, I guess I have to connect the red wire to the tado COM pin an the blue wire to the tado NO pin. But I wait a confirmation by you. Thanks
