Hi I recently purchased two new Thermostats. When I connect them, I can't lock the Thermostats into place they just twist around and you can lift them off. When I connect the central button in the housing moves in and out but the small valve button doesn't lower and I think that's the problem? Please can anyone give me some guidance? Gary.

    Might help to send a picture of the problem, do you know the make of the valve body you’re trying to fit the tado° heads to ?

    I've had that before. What worked for me was connect them to the app then change the temperature till you see the button in the thermostat retract. Then they would screw on.

    Are these V3 thermosat heads?
    If so there's a bottom half which has to be properly locked by really tightening that base into the valve.
    Then when you are sure it doesn't spin, turn off the heating, which brings down the water pressure.
    Then lock the head down into is base, it should lock as you turn.
    Turn the power for heating back on. Then set the temp on the app.
