Existing potterton timer control

We have a 35 year old potterton boiler with a potterton digital time/controller. We have installed a V3+. My question is, should I now set the potterton timer to the off position and rely on the V3 to control the heating/hot water?

Hello @Atno3 Hello. That depends on how you have installed Tado. For users to help, best to describe your old controller and new Tado.

If the controller is still in place, and Tado is the new temperature schedule, typically the old controller is set 24/7.
  • @wateroakley, thanks, old controller is potterton ep2001, which came with the boiler.
I decided to try it on constant today, to see if it responds to the tado, will update.
    Kind regards
