@johndee In the settings > Rooms & Devices > 'device' there are three dots … at the top right. Click on the dots … and you'll find "Remove device from home".

    First group of questions:

    • Is this the V3 series, or X series wireless receiver?
    • Did you make sure that you gave the app details about whether it is Y PLAN, S PLAN, digital, etc?
    • What was the old receiver a V3 series receiver? What the old one's id, and the new one's id?
    • Is this for a digital controlled boiler, or relay controlled? What boiler is it, specifically?
    • When you press the CH button, does it light up, and does the zone valve move?
    • When you press the HW button, does the zone valve for HW move and heat flow to the cylinder?

    Second group of questions:

    • Did you manage to get the wireless receiver to mate with the internet bridge?
    • Is the room stat a Tado wired stat, or a Tado Smart TRV head, or a Tado Smart Sensor?

Do come back, will think it through. Meanwhile: strongly recommend you contact Support immediately, inform them you have no heat, ask them to engage urgently. Then do come back with the answers to the questions.

  • the faulty receiver is only about 18 months old I can get the new wireless receiver to link with bridge but the wireless stat would talk to the new receiver

Try removing all existing devices from the app. Rebuild the rooms, re-pair it all, after the wireless receiver is engaged. Should recreate the map.
