Why does the app show my thermostat connected when I disconnect the bridge

Trying to establish the range of the bridge for an optimal location...but even if I switch the bridge off, the bridge and thermostat still shows connected on the app

I think I will get a refund it’s too unpredictable and can’t trust what the app displays

If your tado° app was locally connected to your Internet Bridge I would share your opinion, however this is not how tado° operates.

Your tado° devices connect to your tado° account on our cloud server via the Internet Bridge. Your tado° app does not, it connects directly to your tado° account on our cloud server. If you disconnect your Internet Bridge it takes a while before this disconnection is registered on the cloud server and then to your app.
