I’ve installed a tado on a Danfoss, but when tado is set to off, the radiator is still very hot even severel hours later
the adapter Can around the Danfoss is fasten and the pin is at the correct height
@Nissdk I cannot think of any reason other than incorrect fitting of the tado TRV. I would be tempted to re-do the installation making sure that you fully tighten the coupling.
samd suggestion is a good idea. However, if that wouldn't solve your case, please contact our support chat at www.tado.com
You need metal converters, the plastic don't work.
We have this problem also. The radiator valves are recording 27 degrees and rads are red hot when we have set to frost protection. These are installed in a holiday let and it could be that guests are breaking/fiddling with the fittings. Where do we get the metal converters from please as we were supplied with plastic ones. Could anything else cause this where the valve is not following instruction? Thanks in advance
