Cannot get this working

Have installed the extension kit in place of Honeywell ST6400C programmable controller and have bridged a relay using TADO instructions. Heating and water set to off but heating running and app says off but heating keeps on going..
If I remove the bridge that was used only for heating then neither the hot water or heating work....
All wiring checked several times but no change....
