Hi, tried to register my thermostat but then I had to register the extension kit which I didn’t have. So today I received the extension kit, tried registering and then got the message I have to wait 2 days for the engineers to prepare the installation. I don’t understand..

To make the installation process as easy as possible, we provide you with clear, step-by-step instructions that are tailored to your specific system. For most systems, we already have custom instructions in our database and you can install your tado° devices right after you register them.

In a few cases, these instructions are not ready yet and our engineers need to prepare customised step-by-step instructions for your system.

We usually are able to prepare your instructions within two working days.

Please do not install tado° without these instructions. If you install without waiting for instructions, the system may not work correctly due to missing configuration options or may even be damaged.
