I have just bought the full Tado system which I thought was wireless, but it appears the Extension kit needs to be wired to the boiler!

I currently have a ideal logic +35 combi boiler in the kitchen with a wireless thermostat in the hallway. No wires go into the boiler or around the house. So assumed the boiler already had WiFi built in.

Can I not use the extension kit? I don’t want to have to pay an installer.
