Wired smart thermostat vs wireless smart thermostat

I've bought a house that appears to have a basic system with a wired smart thermostat in the hallway and two bedrooms with Tado trv's. All other rooms have rads with non-Tado trv's. To improve the system and make it more efficient and rather than carrying out re-wiring would it be easier to install a new wireless thermostat in the lounge (the most used room) together with extra tado trv's in the lounge and other reception rooms ? How easy is this to do ? Thanks in advance.
