Same network, 2 apartments - possible?

Hi!

I'm aware there is still (probably never will be) no Multihome option, but I have 2 apartments which are in the same building (not within the reach of the bridge). Can I use 2 bridges which are in the same network to cover both the apartments? Or I'd have to wait for the Multihome feature?

2nd question: once Tado goes out of business, will there be a way to use my Tado thermostats, or is everything cloud-based? I jus tneed the basic options to schedule the room temperature.
