Early starts comes on way too early

The bedroom was set to reach 21 by 22:15, having been off since 08:30. With Early Start switched on, at 18:00 the radiators were fully open and the room temperature was already at 20. It’s been a similar case in other rooms too.
We’ve reverted to just scheduling the radiators to come on an hour before we want the room at optimum temperature. I’d rather it was one or two degrees off at that point than having the radiators on for hours unnecessarily.

Hi @HelenW,
You have discovered 1 of the many additional features 'offered' by Tado that really don't function as you/we would expect.
This function is supposed to 'learn' and so adapt to your/our requirements......the computing power/algorithm is either not capable to do this (I suspect the algorithm simply doesn't exist) if it could be done then Tado Support 'should' be able to make a simple adjustment to your setup.....however I don't have any evidence that they have been able to achieve this for other users.
I don't use this function.....tried it....found it to be useless.0 -
