Just Added Add On Wired Thermostat - Problems!

Hi there. Have a wired thermostat upstairs that controls heat on the landing and to upstairs rooms via Tado TRVs.
Wall stat in the living died last week so replaced it today with an additional Tado Wired Thermostat.
When I change the temperature in the living room it changes the temp in the unit on the landing. Also, whilst the temperature is adjust on the downstairs unit, there’s no “click” from the relay inside it so it doesn’t seem to be actually calling for or cancelling heat in the living room.
Is there anything I can do to sort this, or is this something that needs Tado to fiddle with their end? I’ve messaged them, but they’re not in until Monday.
