Is the V3 Thermostat an upgrade on the original

I bought the Smart Thermostat Starter Kit back in 2015.

Is the latest V3 version an improvement on the original? So is it worth while changing the thermostat to the latest version....does it do anything better?

Hi @Calmcookie, according to their website, V3+ is the latest version of tado° and comes with improved hardware, a more modern chipset and extended compatibility.
