Old style timer on BAXI boiler and wired thermostat?

Hello,

Was just having a look at tado rather than getting British Gas to come and install Hive.

Probably a really newbie question.. I was just wondering, If i replace the wired thermostat with the tado one, what do i do on the boiler?

Is it just simply a case of setting the boiler timer to be on 24/7 and the tado will handle it, or do I have to remove / disable the built in timer on the boiler?
