Smart Rad vs Basic Rad thermostat

I've installed 4 x Smart Rad thermostats, and I've just installed 2 x basic rad thermostats. Am i right in saying the only difference is the digital display on the smart rad?

My basic rad thermostats show everthing the same on the app incl. humidity. And the control is the same. Seems a waste of money buying these expensive smart rad thermostats if the basic ones do the same job? Am I missing something, because I don't think I am.

    In our experience, Basic versus Smart is not significant when compared to the possible energy and ££ saving with smart controls.
